Whiskey Orange Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 (15.25 oz) box yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • Zest of 1/2 an orange
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup whiskey
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs, at room temperature

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease and flour a quarter sheet pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, pudding mix, orange zest, whiskey, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until incorporated.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  4. Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Let cool completely before assembling
